The Canapo Art Gallery was opened in 1994 by Carlos Porras in Carmel-by-the-Sea. It featured Latin Art from
Italy, Spain, France as well as artists from Mexico, Chile, Peru and the
rest of Latin America.
In addition to world-famous artists such as Frida Kahlo, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Diego Rivera and Francisco Zuniga, other artists featured were Andrea Yomtob, Carlos Bahamon, Angela Gonzalez, Chantelle Allan, Michele Rushfeldt, Wagner Bueno de Souza and the motorcycle sculptures of Raul Reyna (link below).
The gallery is no longer open but the Reyna sculptures can now be seen at the Eagle Iron & Leather Shop at Moss Landing (links to both below).
