Vera Lynn
died today; she was 103 years old. I remember the songs she sang during the war, World War II,
that is. Her songs were meant to inspire and boost moral for the war
effort. A couple of her big "Hits" were (There'll Be Bluebirds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover, and We'll Meet Again,
the title of the song used as the closing line Queen Elizabeth used in
her address to Britain a couple of months ago regarding the Corona virus
