I am showing Judgment of Paris (link below), based on a Greek mythology legend depicting the origins of the Trojan War, as well as Adoration (link below) and Blue/Door in an exhibition entitled Jingletown Originals at the Gray Loft Gallery in Oakland until Saturday, October 29 from 3 to 6 PM.
Adoration is part of a process I call photo de/reconstruction that I started over ten years ago using a thermal dye-sublimation Kodak printer (links below) .
Blue/Door, is a photograph I took in Vendrill, a tiny village in EspaƱa on a glorious Sunday morning on July 11, 2010.
The three images have been shown in previous exhibitions.
Tom White is also showing his new work, Drawn & Quartered, in the Jingletown Originals exhibition (link below).
Other participating artists in the Jingletown Originals exhibition:
Suzy Barnard, Daniel Baum, Ruth Boerefijn, Betty Jo Costanzo, Josh Greenberg, Ake Grunditz, Leslie Frierman Grunditz, Kyung Lee, Stacey Mackey, Sue Matthews, Lynn McGeever, Dorie Meister, Susan Parish, Russ Osterweil, Amy Sollins, Michael Stewart, Styrous, Jan Watten, Tom White and Karyn Yandow.
