Tom White started installation of the Drawn, Quartered, Repurposed
exhibition yesterday; Ginny Parsons had gotten there ahead of us with her husband, Lee,
installing the work she will have in the show she has invited
Tom White to join (link below).

The show will be presented at the K Gallery in the Rhythmix Cultural Works from August to October, 2022.
Ginny
is an Alameda environmental artist who paints with leftovers,
everything from laundry detergent to peanut butter. White does similar
stuff so their work is ideally pared. Ginny shows at the K Gallery in Alameda and the Gray Loft Gallery in Oakland.
Ginny's recent projects have included trash balls salvaged from the bay and paintings using cyanotypes of local seaweed. Ginny is a self-taught artist who has been painting for 40 years and runs an Art Camp for kids in her studio; I've seen shots from it and she is radiant, so, she obviously loves it!
As I said in my previous article (link below), "It will make for a pretty dynamic exhibition!"
August 13 - October 28, 2022
Opening reception:
Saturday, August 13, 2022
