Kyung Lee ~ We R Here @ the Gray Loft Gallery

 ~

After Daniel Baum presented the world premier of We R Here at the Odense International Film Festival in Denmark, his partner, documentary videographer Kyung Lee, is having three screenings here in the Bay Area in October!

The film chronicles the lives of three unhoused individuals who tell their struggles, experiences and hopes - in their own words - using cell phones. They tell their own stories through their own lens and share the highs and lows of their homeless experience.

The screenings are:

Friday, October 14th at 6:30 pm
Jingletown Originals
at the Gray Loft Gallery, 2889 Ford St #32, Oakland, CA 94601
There will be an intimate screening at the Gray Loft Gallery as part of "Jingletown Originals."

Sunday, October 16th at 7 pm
Moving Everywhere
A backyard film screening in Berkeley with James R Martel.
James is going to show his two short films, Take Five and Juju. Please contact Kyung Lee for address.

Tuesday, October 25th at 6:30 pm
at the New Parkway Theater, 474 24th St, Oakland, CA 94612
Following the screening there will be a panel discussion on homelessness in Oakland, CA. Panelists include Oakland mayoral candidates Tyron Jordan, John Reimann, Seneca Scott and Sheng Thao. Additional panelist will be updated as confirmed.

The production of We R Here is supported by the Puffin Foundation, East Bay Community Foundation, Robertson Family Foundation and the City of Oakland Cultural Program.
