Unfinished Music No. 2: Life with the Lions is the second of three experimental albums of avant-garde music released by John Lennon and Yoko Ono on May 26, 1969 on Zapple, a sub label of Apple. It was a successor to the 1968, highly controversial because of its nudity, Unfinished Music No. 1: Two Virgins, album.
I love Music No. 2 for its experimentation; the John Cage influence is unmistakable; none of it could be considered, "Easy Listening"; as demonstrated by Two Minutes Silence, which is, well . . . silence.
The cut, Cambridge 1969, puts me in mind of the vocal by Irene Papas on the piece, ∞, from 666 by Vangelis (link below). Then there is No Bed for Beatle John (links below). Listen at your own risk.

Music No. 2 peaked in the United States at number 174. The album, whose title is a play on words of the BBC Radio show Life with The Lyons, was recorded at Queen Charlotte's Hospital in London and live at Cambridge University, in November, 1968 and March 1969, respectively.
