A new exhibition entitled Art of the African Diaspora will be opening at the Gray Loft Gallery in Oakland on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
The Gray Loft show is actually a satellite of the main exhibition presented at the Richmond Art Center which features over 150 artists of African descent.
The exhibition was originally entitled, The Art of Living Black. It was founded in 1997 by artists Jan Hart-Schuyers and Rae Louise Hayward; it has been renamed this year.
