Last night, Friday, May 20, 2016, Nightline did a special with Diane Sawyer about Riker's Island. The Family Dogg was 44 years ahead of their time with their 1972 song, Riker's Island. It is one of the most profound rock songs ever written about the horror of prison life. I was four years ahead with my 2012 video featuring their song (links below).
Thanks to Steve Rowland for his permission to use Riker's Island in the video I produced in 2012. The song was written by Steve Rowland, Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood.
