101 Reel-To-Reel Tapes 5: Wishbone Ash ~ Pilgrimage

In addition to my vinyl collection I'm selling, I have hundreds of reel-to-reel, pre-recorded tapes. This is an entry about one of them that was for sale on eBay (see link below for others). I have the vinyl LP version as well. Interested? Contact me.

Pilgrimage is the second studio album by Wishbone Ash. It is more folk and acoustic music as opposed to the blues rock sound of the first album. My favorite cut from the album is the instrumental jazz/rock piece ("Vas Dis") which has a four-part harmony scat vocalization that is just out of this world! Be sure to check out a live performance of it by them on the BBC in 1971 on YouTube (see link below).

The album sold well, reaching no.14 in the UK charts.
