Peter Dreyfuss - 2025

There is an old song from 1946 by Allan Roberts and Doris Fisher, originally written for a film noir titled Gilda, during which it was sung by Rita Hayworth (but actually the singing voice of Anita Kert Ellis was dubbed in). Put the Blame On Mame cited events caused by the afore mentioned Mame, including the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.
Well, the Orchard / Galleries on 25 is the not quite so disastrous result of Bay Area sculptor, Peter Dreyfuss. In fact, it's brilliant! A series of small galleries in which artists can display their works solo. This first in the series of planned exhibitions features thirteen artists each in their own private gallery (link below).
In addition to his sculptures he creates brilliant paintings that reflect his sculptures in two dimensions.
The current exhibition runs until the end of January with a closing reception on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
