The Richmond Art Center, Art Of The African Diaspora Satellite Exhibition at the Gray Loft Gallery in Oakland, which closed earlier this month, is continuing in the K Gallery at the Rhythmix Cultural Works in Alameda.
The main Richmond Art Center exhibition featured 132 African-American artists in a dazzling array of artistic media from painting, photography, mixed media to collage. Although the main exhibition has closed, this Satellite Exhibition will be open until Saturday, April 22, 2023.
This Saturday, March 25th, from 1-3pm, Anna Edwards and Xan Blood Walker will host open gallery hours at the K Gallery and you will be able to meet both artists and see their work.
Art Of The African Diaspora highlights the rich cultural heritage of six Bay Area artists, showcasing a diverse collection of painting, photography, mixed media, and collage.
