Today is the birthday of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, the 46th president of the United States. Five days ago, on Saturday, November 15, 2020, he was determined to have won the election and he offered himself to the nation as a leader who “seeks not to divide, but to unify” a country gripped by an historic pandemic and economic and social turmoil.
Biden was born on November 20, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the oldest child in a Catholic family, of English, French, and Irish ancestry.
Beginning in 1953, the family lived for several years in an apartment in Claymont, Delaware, then moved to a house in Wilmington, Delaware.

Our prayers are with him for a smooth entry into the presidency this coming year and with support from his Vice Presidential choice Kamala Harris, a fruitful term in the four years to come.
