San Francisco 40th Anniversary Carnaval ~ Grand Parade 2018

Yesterday I caught part of the finale of the 40th San Francisco Carnaval. It was the culmination of the two day festival (link below).
Most of it ran along exciting and colorful, Mission Street, the heart of the Mission, the Latin quarter of San Francisco, California.
The parade started at 24th Street and Harrison and ended back on 15th Street and Harrison (link to map below).
Carnaval San Francisco (CSF), is a multicultural celebration of music, dance, and artistry that since 1979 has showcased Latin American culture and the talents of Mission District residents in an atmosphere of harmony and revelry. It was a FREE 2–day family festival in San Francisco’s Mission District over Memorial Day weekend — on Harrison Street between 16th and 24th Streets — and showcased global cuisine, international music, dance, arts and crafts, and other fun activities and entertainment on every street corner for the entire family to enjoy. Carnaval San Francisco is the largest multi–cultural celebration on the West Coast.
