About Barbara Cushman
(March 28, 1945 - June 20, 2014)
Barbara Cushman was a collage artist in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Her collages were mostly hand constructed using a variety of media:
postage stamps, photographs, magazine clippings...whatever struck her
fancy. Collages were scanned and printed out in a smaller size
suitable for note cards. Each note card was individualized. Vintage
postage stamps and rubber stamps were among her favorite enhancers.
