Like a tattered old teddy bear whose eyes have been lost and replaced by buttons, I discovered my Fisher x-202 amp in my storage where it's been living for over 30 years.

Manufactured in New York in the early sixties, it was state of the art at the time and became the workhorse everyone used for their hi-fi sound systems.

Specifications

Speaker load impedance: 4Ω to 16Ω
Valve complement: 4 x 7189, 2 x 7247, 3 x 12AX7, 3 x 12AT7, 1 x 5AR4

There are controls for: Stereo Balance, Treble, Bass, Mode Selector, Low Level, Input Selector, Center Channel Selector, Lo Filter, Hi Filter, Loudness Contour, & Master Volume.
