Shades of Gray
10th Anniversary Photography Exhibition
Saturday, December 10 to Saturday, January 21, 2023

As part of the tenth anniversary of the Gray Loft Gallery, it will present Shades of Gray, a group exhibition of photography selected by Ann Jastrab, executive director of Center for Photographic Art, and Jan Watten, founder of Gray Loft Gallery.

The photographers showing in the exhibition have explored the taste, smell, texture; as well as the feelings/emotions the color gray invokes: despair, joy, luxury, destitution, soft versus harsh and many other contradictory aspects of a color often ignored, and they have interpreted not only what they saw but felt.

The exhibition includes mixed media, alternative processes, color imagery and traditional black and white photographs.
