Travels of Fortune ~ Enrique Chagoya - 2021

With photos, beeswax, wood and resin, ten artists present their take on Rising Seas. From crowded freeways to healthy seaweed, this exhibit displays a range of perspectives on how climate change will affect our island.

Rising Seas features artworks by Josie Iselin, Jan Watten, Ginny Parsons (curator), Ed Holmes, Christo Braun, Deb Sullivan, Charlie Sullivan, Jen Doyle Crane, Pons Maar, and Maurice Ramirez.

The opening reception also features Where do we draw the line?, the Rising Seas Project dance performance choreographed by KT Nelson (former co-artistic director of ODC/Dance), featuring a sound score created by bean with voices from the local community. Don't miss this special sneak preview of the Rising Seas Performance Series!
