I
was rummaging through a dusty box of photographs and came across a
bunch of old photos I'd forgotten from my biker days. At the time I was dancing with Pillow (links below) in the late
70's at the Hungry i on Broadway in North Beach. One is the only photo I have that was shot while performing the "Love Act" with her. Two are by photographer, Daniel Nicoletta (link below), one of Ben (link below) with R2-D2 and one was taken while back stage by Pillow herself.

(forgive the white suit, tie and vest, it WAS disco era 70's)
The theme of one of the "sets" Pillow and I had for our "Love Act" was based on the Star Wars film. She was Princess Leia (buns 'n all) and I was Darth Vader (breathing heavily). Ben made his version of R2-D2 for the act with flashing lights and it moved around. The robot would be on stage as we performed the set and in the dim light it was effective.
