Two days later, on February 9, 1964, fifty years ago today, The Beatles appeared on television on the Ed Sullivan Show; the appearance released pandemonium in the audience and on the rest of the United States.

It opened a new door in the world of music and changed the face of it forever. In 2002, The Ed Sullivan Show was ranked #15 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.

 Thanks to John, George, Paul and Ringo, it has been a very magical mystery tour that has lasted for 50 years!!
